Hey y'all!
I can't believe I turned 19 last week, and I can't believe it was in Disney World!! My 19th birthday was the longest birthday ever! Why? Because it felt like it lasted thorough all the days that we visited the Disney parks. On sunday night, I got a Disney birthday pin that I wore the rest of my birthday and the other remaining days that we were in Disney World. It was kind off funny because people kept saying 'Happy Birthday' every single day. We left on friday, 2nd from Jackson, MS. Our flight was at 3pm, so I got checked out of school at 12:30pm. When we landed at the airport in Orlando, we had to wait a while for our luggage, which after we went to hire our car. Next, we left for the Wyndham resort, the place we would stay at for the next 5 days. When we got there, we ate dinner at one of the nearby restaurants in the resort and got settled in our room. Saturday, we visited the first Disney park: Epcot. There, we saw the different countries that Disney used to base their movies on. Norway; the country used for Frozen, Morocco for Aladdin, and France for Beauty and the Beast. It was very neat to walk from one county into another one. We also did Soarin', a simulation that took us on a flight through the USA. I really liked that! We also saw a butterfly garden, where butterflies were flying all around you! Epcot was also the parc where we did a Disney Princess brunch. We basically had brunch while the Disney Princesses came to your table to meet you and take pictures! It was really cute to see how the kids react to them! Jane Bradley was shy, while Beckam didn't show any interest to Ariel who called him a prince! On sunday, my birthday, we went to Magic Kingdom. That's where cinderella's big castle is and many fun rides! We did thunder mountain and splash mountain in adventure land. We also got on a raft that took us to a small island. When we were there, we saw writings in the sky made by a plane. It said: God is happy, Jesus 4gives, and Jesus loves you. So true! :) There was also a ride, called ''It's a small world'', that took us through different parts of the world. Belle and the Beast's castle was also on our list! The girl who played Belle really looked like her. Jane Bradley wasn't scared to do the Space Mountain with me and Lacey. So we did that too, which was awesome! We also saw the Incredibles and had a little dance party with them :). I also had my first float ever! It's just Vanilla ice cream with coke, which sounds weird but tastes good! I hadn't just that ice cream that day, but I also had a Mickey ice cream earlier that day! Hey, it's my birthday. What do you expect? For dinner, I had my first chili hotdog, which is baseball food! It was good, especially when you eat it while you watch a parade. We stayed until late at night because after the parade, there were fireworks! In the parade, we saw Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses and a lot of lights!! It was all so pretty. Right after the parade, we saw the fire works for about half an hour. It was so crowded, so it was kind off hard to find a good spot where we could see it all really good, but we still saw a pretty good deal out of it. It was such a fun night and birthday!! On monday, we took a break from Disney and went to Sea world. It was a short day because we only did the dolphin feeding and show, and the orca show. After that we went back to the resort and spent the rest of the day at the pool. On tuesday, we went to Hollywood Studios! I wore my Disney birthday pin again, so everybody congratulated me again! :D The second we got in the park, Brad took Beckam, while Lacey, Jane Bradley, and I went to do the rock&roller coaster, and the Hollywood Tower of Terror! After that we took some more pictures with Daisy and Donald Duck. The kids have a signature book, which every character that they get a picture with signs. So cute! Then we also did the Star Wars ride, which is a very fun simulation! We also saw a short little mermaid musical. We also saw some shows, like an Indiana stunt show that shows us how movie sets are used and moved. We saw a car stunt show too! Beckam loved that one. :) Our last day was at Animal Kingdom. It was the same day that we had our flight back to Jackson and the last day I got to wear my pin! I'm telling you; this has been the longest birthday ever! At animal kingdom, we did a dinosaur ride, saw Nemo The Musical, got soaking wet on a water ride, and rode expedition Everest! Expedition Everest was my favorite roller coaster in whole Disney World, just because it went fast and backwards half of the way. We also got to do a safari! The safari really felt like it was set in the savannah in Africa! Around 3pm we had to leave to take back the car at the airport and go to our gate. We got home safely and happy to see Brooke again because we really missed her! The next day, I got my birthday gifts! I got a mississippi cookbook, a mississippi necklace, and a really cute rain jacket! That thursday was finally the last day of the longest birthday ever! I'm so thankful I had the privilege of staying with Lacey, Brad, Jane Bradley, Beckam, and Brooke for almost a year! I'm so happy I got the chance to experience America through them, and I would do it all over if I could! I can't believe I'm leaving them at the end of this month, but I'm happy to see everyone in Belgium again! I will miss this family who has become so precious to me! xoxo Suzanna
